Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did you try boot from CD option in the BIOS??

Yep tried that on two different computers even set the bios to boot from cd and nothing else and it told me there was no operating system found, so wanna burn a new iso disc that i can boot from.

nLite is what you're looking for.

Or, get a legitimate XP CD.

When burning a cd be sure to tick the "make bootable" option or burn as an .iso rather than just copy and pasting the files to the cd.

Without knowing what burning software you use it's hard to explain exactly how.

I had this trouble recently, an old vanilla XP install disc that I had wouldn't boot from the CD no matter what I tried. I upgraded a friend's laptop from vista to XP over the weekend and it gave me no amount of trouble, then I remembered an old article I once came across.

    http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#wxp

It gives instructions of how to build a bootable XP cd with the option of slipstreaming either SP1 or SP2 into the install (it's the same process for slipstreaming SP2 also, so just follow the guide as it's quite old and only written for SP1).

    Happy erh... installing!
