First Car was a 1970 Toyota Carina when I was about 15.

By the time I got legal, we had upgraded to an 87 Carina. That was a lovely car.

If we're including all vehicles, the first vehicle I drove was a 1959 (ish)Fordson Super Dexta. I was driving it regularly in fields and around the yard from the age on 8 and on the local byroads from the age of 12.

Like below, except it had a roll bar and a bit of a home made cab on it.

Locked myself in one of these with the keys in it in town, then proceed to go into my changing bag and smear lotion all over the inside of the car, got some in my eye then a garda broke a fly window to get me out.

i also took of the hand break and rolled the car down into our neighbours new corrolla. i was about 2 years old at the time.

Started to learn to drive on a Nissan Cherry in the late 80's. If I remember correctly it looked a lot like a slightly bigger Nissan Micra of the same era.

Wow, the owners obviously wanted an insurance write off (I own a Stilo for another 5 weeks until I get my new car!)

Clean 135 that. 3 cylinder model and all! Was that in from Scotland?
That was my first vehicle too, about 8 or 9 I was. First car was probably a 405 diesel, I was around 11. Only around the yard at home. Don't remember what was the first I drove on the road.

Was it really a Bluebird Coupe? That must have been quite rare, don't remember seeing many about.

In the father's 1985 Ford Orion GLX 1.6 diesel in red on a beach somewhere, can't remember, maybe in Wexford. Thought I was a great fella when i got to 3rd gear!

That car went through 4 bonnets in its life time!!!
