    Hi everyone :)

I'll be studying in Maynooth in september as an Erasmus student (Frenchman living in Paris but studying in Versailles) - mainly studying English, Spanish and Irish.. languages in other words :)

I'll be living on campus according to the last news hehe.. I've been told the accomodation office could not be reliable at times!

Anyway, Im looking forward to being over there. À bientôt !

    The name's Michelle.

Live in Blanch, nice and easy access to Maynooth!

Started in Maynooth last year doing Biotech but dropped out. Went back, repeated my exams and I'm due to start an Arts Degree this September. I plan on taking English, Geography and either French or Nua-Ghaeilge. Decisions decisions!

Aaanyway, on to the important stuff!

Interests include mainly drinking and attempting to dance.

Like a birra the musac. Crystal castles, Hot Chip, Sigur Ros, Digitalism and British Sea power to name a few...

I work in a bakery/deli near my house which keeps me going.

I don't know anyone else starting in Maynooth this year so if anyone else is taking the same subjects as me, HI!

    Over and out.

Just curious as I did a year in UCD before moving out to Maynooth.

I can safely say it was the best decision of my life, despite the fact I had to pay full fees last year.

    Heck no! :)

I know it gets thrown around quite a bit, but Maynooth really is as nice as everyone says.

Plus, you have a year's experience now, you know how college works (or should work....gah! UCD admin.....ARGH!).

Whatever happens, try to do as much as you can on Fresher's week (including orientation stuff - the first two people I met on my tour are now two of my best mates).

And remember.......I'll be around Fresher's week trying to get lots of free stuff while dodging those Bank of Ireland dudes on south campus.....

So shout if you're in trouble!

    ^_^
