    hey does anyone know if you have to pay import tax on goods(clothes) imported from the UK? and if so how much and how do you pay??

    Hey I've never had to pay import tax on clothes from the UK like the topshop website and other European websites.
    The only time I've been stung for additional tax was when I ordered shoes from an American site - the shoes cost Eu100 incl shipping and then I got caught for something like Eu30 tax (can't remember exactly but it was a significant enough amount)
    Are you based in Ireland?
