    Wednesday 6th Aug, Ian Welsh will be starting thaiboxing classes in the Waterford Kickboxing Association 7pm-9pm. the classes will be every Mon and Wed night at these times.
    Ex army man Ian is only back from training camp in Thailand. And was training there for the last 3 months. He fought in the Fairtex Thepprasit Boxing Stadium in Thailand against a local who has been
    training since the age of 5 and has notches up over 200 thai boxing
    fight. Ian fought a 5 round fight coming close to knocking his
    opponent in the 4th with a right hook. the end result Ian was narrowly
    defeated by the local thaiboxer.

    say you never trained before, would it still be ok or is it for fighters lookin to improve? really i'd only be interested in the training for fitness side of things

    no experience needed. This is a new club Ian is starting. He wont be long showing you the basics and whipping you into shape ! He is a good lad !
