Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi can anyone out there give me a bit of advice, my laptop is gone all slow, its a fujitsu siemans amilo pro and runs on windows vista, its just used for messing around on the web or playing music or storing photos, but recently it has slowed right down, programmes take alot longer to open and run. using the web can be frustrating sometimes working ok more often slow often timing out. i have up to date kaspersky anti virus and no virus have been detected. the thing is the laptop was ok running grand but i don't know what happened to make it so bad. i must say i added the internet anti virus after the laptop started slowing down.

when i am on task manager it show cpu usage from 13% to 27% and some times up to 100% allways changing

could be malware such as spyware or adware.

First, follow all of the steps outlined in this FAQ: "I Think I Have a Virus"

Then, go to the Virus & Malware Removal Forum to post your results.

in task manager what processes are using the most cpu%, this will probably tell you what is slowing it down

also what memory does the laptop have? a lack of memory will really slow things down
