Bass Fishing - Dublin

    Anyone know of any good spots for Bass fishing in dublin?
    i have heard red rock and dollymount can throw up the odd bass - anybody?

    Above plus Killiney, the estuaries in north Co Dublin, and the Liffey and Dodder brackish zones, and the Sandymound strand channels (really shallow water!) . Not many fish though big ones. I would think it could be measured in bass per season, rather than per trip.

    that few?
    would that be the case in dollymount/redrock - i live kind of close
    ill be using little berkley and rapala divers too...any other tips greatly appreciated

    Islandbridge is out due to inland resident seals eating everything in the river. Like a big fat fox living in the henhouse. Not much left.

    The dedicated bass anglers are not likely to divulge much.
    Polaroids before 7am would probably be a good means of investigation.
