Dell Outlet - Laptop Warranty

I bought a laptop in December from the Dell Outlet store. The backllight on the screen just went the other day. I've checked the order.pdf and it lists the following regarding warranty:

680-16920 ARB Base Warranty 1
680-16921 ARB 90 day Car (collect and RETURN) 1
800-11081 ARB Dell Outlet Refurbished Machine 1

Does that mean I'm fooked cos I'm over 90 days or what does "base warranty" mean does anyone know?

Pretty sure its a 1 year warranty so you should be ok.

[Think the 90 Days is the time they will collect it from you and return it, after 90 days you have to deliver it to them....my reading of it anyway]

Cheers lads, looks like I'm out of luck though - it appears to be just the 90 days. I mailed support though so I'll see what they say.

The national consumer agency states that if a product is faulty you can return it to them outside of your guarantee. I'd suggest emailing the nca first then contacting dell with their response in hand.

Dell came out and replaced the screen. Cheers lads
