Loads of pubs in Béal Feirste have good trad sessions, if that's what you are after.

Madden's, Kelly's, the Duke of York and sometimes Whyte's and the Garret in the city centre are your best bets.

Má tá Gaeilge agat ta pub Gaelach in iarthar na cathrach darb ainm Cumann Chluain Ard.

All the above mentioned.... although it's The Garrick (not Garret)... the best pub in Belfast, hands down is The Rotterdam on pilot street... i think they do trad on a monday but ring to check. Pats Bar directly behind it is also great and used to have the best session of anywhere on a Wednesday (again check that it still happens).

Not sure about ceilis but theres plently of trad music about belfast, in fact the irish music scene in belfast is realy taking off, with kids from the Andytown, Mcpeakes and glengormley schools of traditional music amongst others all coming through.
check out mchughs on a saturday afternoon and wednesday evening
Durke of York on a thursday night
Maddens/ kellys most nights of the week. (in particular upstairs in maddens at the weekend)

    some great sessions amongst those.
