Is the "Colorado Beetle" still threat in Ireland?

    I can remember back in the 70ies seeing "wanted" posters for the Colorado Beetle in every Garda barracks in the country. I believe at one time if you found one you had to capture immediatly and call the cops. I don't hear much about them any more. Has modern pesticides ruled out the treat of them? surely with global travel the treat of an invasion of these is greater than ever.
