Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    the other week i went to limreck to buy cds-now i was on a budget so i had to pick beetween Mastodon-Blood Mountain or Machine Head-Burn My Eyes>>>eventually i couldnt decide so i gave up==help me choose!!

    I liked Mastodon long before I liked Machine Head, but id probably go for Machine Head, depends if you've heard them before and youre buying from a collecters perspective or listening for the first time.....

    Nah i'd be the opposite,i like seeing the progression of the band with each album.Remission is prolly the 'most accessible' and least prog/conceptual.Plus march of the fire ants is brutal!

    Those two albums are a bit difficult to compare but if you had a gun to my head it would have to be Burn My Eyes for me. That's not to say that Blood Mountain is bad, I'm just a big Machine Head fan and Burn My Eyes is probably my favourite album from them.

    Burn My Eyes is worth it alone for that line. Id go for Mastodon though.
