Rain proper just started here. Aside from 0.3mm at 3.30 this morning, have had no measureable rain all day.

Periods of heavy rain mixed with spells of lighter rain. Did I mention it was raining?

Rain is moderate again here but as you said Snowbie, it's not as much as I was expecting. I reckon there's a rain shadow over us from the Dublin Mountains.....north east Dublin is the driest part of Ireland, after all!!!

Steady moderate rain here, 17mm so far from this.
Drive home was awesome! Wish there was rain rate gauges in Calary on the road to Roundwood, the only way I could describe the rain there is as "deluge". So heavy at one point I thought thought the windows had fogged up but weren't, the roads were just rivers, comparatively tame stuff here, fun drive in the pitch dark :D

21.6mm now including the pre midnight stuff.

I don't like the look of that radar over wexford just to the south of me.
Looks like another severe burst before a bit of quiet.
    Rain rate currently 6.9mm/hr

Noticed that BB and also the arc when using the loop. Arcing this way me thinks.
