Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A lot of people go through life only seeing football on TV you know.

    Unbelievable isn't it?

Imagine supporting a team, and never actually seeing them play, except for on TV.

The fact that St. Pat's are the best team in Ireland atm, yet are competing in the UEFA cup is positive, because they can face Elfsborg, rather than Dynamo Kiev.

    Pat's may progress in this.

    Yep.

I think Irish teams should be concentrating on breaking the UEFA group stages rather than the CL for the time being.

SPA should be aiming to finish second in the league, because they'll never win the cup :pac:

Have a look at the league table http://extratime.ie/leagues/ , we are 1 point ahead with 2 games in hand. So far this season its been Bohs 0-1 Pats and Pats 0-1 Bohs. Its the only game we have lost and have conceded only 7 goals in 18 games

Sorry to get technical delija but our League is the League of Ireland, the Irish League is them boyo's up North.

It's unfair on Bohemians to say Pats are the best team in the country at the minute, however I do feel they are the best equipped to win European games.

Elfsborg is as good a draw as Pats could get really, but it still leaves a very tough tie against a decent Swedish side . Elfsborg are doing well in their league at the minute but it's certainly a winnable tie for Pats.

I know already situation in league and Bohemians has 1 point more but i am talking about overall impression this year,i saw some won games in UEFA cup from St.Patrick's and Bohemians didnt participated at all so after all St.Patric's left a bit better impression on me as neutral football fun.I am not saying that means Bohemians is bad or something, just impression i got so far in this season, anyway good luck to both of teams in next period:)

Bohemians were in the intertoto, we hammered some Welsh team and then lost on away goals to Riga and then signed one of their best players.

It's my opinion that Pat's are a better side. I know the league table, no need to point me in it's direction, thanks.
