    Hey there,
I'm just posting to say that I have set up a blog page to promote the new comic I'm working on with Stephen Paul Coffey (the Bobby the Bot creator), which we are launching in November at the Dublin City Comic-Con.

    Check it out!!

Wait till you see the MILF in the next picture...

http://gerhankey.blogspot.com/ more updates. I'm trying to do it every Friday, but I'm notoriously lazy about these things. The web is probably littered with sites & blogs I've started & abandoned, like so many unwanted kittens in black bags by the canal....

    Hey Ger and Stephen,

just to let you guys know I have been checking the blog and looking at everything. don't really have any comments right now as its still early and its been all pin ups so far, looking forward to seeing some sequential art.

What are you aiming to have ready for the con in november? Thats an awful tight deadline, would hate to see you rush everything just to have work ready.

We are planning to have the first issue & some promotional stuff ready for November. Stephen is also working on another comic with a different artist too. I cant speak for that side of things, but as far as Celtic Knights goes, its motoring along at a nice pace. The pin-up stuff was actually done a while ago (and coloured with markers while my computer was on the blink!!).

As for sequential art, I'll probably post something in the next couple of weeks. I'm terrible for finishing art & not bothering to scan it for ages (all those plugs & wires are really off-putting).
Thanks for the comments anyway. Its nice to know somebodys paying attention, I always get this terrible paraniod feeling whenever I post anything on the net that nobody is out there!!

MILF MILF MILF MILF MILF MILF MILF MILF

Older women do it for me anyway....

Thanks for your comments and concerns. The good thing is that Ger is a one man production team, I write the scripts very fast, and then Ger has the hard part. The deadline is for the convention but we are well on course.

The other comic with Barry is coming along nicely and will be ready for the convention as well, it is Rosemary: The Return... a redo of issue one... it's going to be fun.

And I'll have some fun Bobby the Bot Posters to give away with each purchase on the day of the convention... so fun all round.

It's all really good. The first issue of Celtic Knights is going to be something different in the Irish Small Press comic book scene... just wait and see. Ger has said that if the comic sells out on the first day of the con he'll wear a tight evening dress on the second day, that alone would be worth the price of admission.

I'm working on the scibbles for the next issue right now, including new characters and villains.... God I love writing villains...

Another great post Ger. Now if anyone wants to know more about Celtic Knights, or the other comic I'll try to be peddlin' at the convention there is a group on face book about it.... you can just search my name and join if you wanna, don't if you don't, and learn about all we'll be doing at the con to con you out of your coins.....

    Stephen Paul Coffey
tickling the Ivorys... they live next door and appreciate that kind of thing.

    Hey all...

Ger has done some research.... seems that he has more time since Big Brother 9 ended, and before the next cycle of Americas next top model... Turns out that Celtic Knights will be a world's first in comic history... Won't spoil the shock and awe of this amazing story point but it's there and its really... unique.

Celtic Knights will a be comic for people of all ages, so adults and children will be able to read the book together... see we are promoting family activity (not the Fred West kind)

So to see this monumental event in comic book history (a little bit OTT but anyway) you'll have to buy a copy. Talk soon...

    Peace
    Stephen

I'm offended by that remark, I've never watched an episode of Americas next top model in my life! (...cause its on at the same time as wife swap.)

    Anywhoo... http://gerhankey.blogspot.com/

I would like to withdraw the remark about Ger and ANTM... I'm sure that he will forgive the implication of this statement.

At the moment I'm busy writing more Celtic Knights... the Villains are about to enter and so I'm happy as a pig in dirt...

The thing about writing Celtic Knights is that those that know my writings (my short stories) know the dark stuff that I scribble down... Celtic Knights is so different. Ger will vouch for this that the book can be read by any age group. It's nice to write something that someone under the legal age of consent can read.

I'm hoping that we can get people behind these characters as (speaking for Ger as well) writing and drawing them is so much fun...

This is an image from the introduction of FALLOUT from Celtic Knights. Fallout has problems with gravity and as you can see this can be a bit messy. Both Ger and I would love to hear peoples thoughts on this image, and anything else we do.

We are going to start a public vote on which outfit Ger should wear to the convention... it's between a string bikini or a classy evening wear outfit.

Both Comics, Celtic Knights issue 1 and Rosemary Herbb: The Return are for sale in Sub City. Forbidden Planet have Rosemary Herbb: The Return at the moment, as soon as our next run of Celtic Knights issue 1 arrives they will have those too. We sold out Celtic Knights issue 1 at the Dublin City Comic Con so keep with us and we'll let you know when you can pick a copy up.
