tbh, you will be hard pressed to find a job anywhere these days. Just look at the dole queue's and the queues for any place thats currently hiring. Best of luck with the hunt though

The traffic and parking while passing the dole office in Cranmore is scary.

I was waiting for a taxi outside Lidl last week and it was an interesting insight. I would be a habitual Lidl shopper for many years. Nothing much has changed in my house - there was no boom, and so now no recession.

The different cars in the car park, definitely a better model these days. :p

The two businessmen walking to their car with boxes of Rioja. (Last year, Lidl Rioja would be )

The northern reg work vehicles parked in the upper left corner, where the driver gets out and walks left out of the car park. (To the dole offices.)

My millionare ex-bosses shopping there. I told them it was good!

/I'm not generally nosey, but 10 minutes outside Lidl is fascinating these days!

Not that it wouldn't interest me just I cant really see there being to much wrk in the local B&B's
do you live in the country or town

this makes a diff cause you said bout not much work in the LOCAL b&b..
so saying that the local b&b in the country would be possibly quite ??
whereas the town b&b's should be starting to get busy from now now..

give it a go, you never know :D

basquille liked the fish monger's shop, if I remember correctly.

I was in there once or twice as well, nice place. No smell - that's important.

I think Starbelgrade has paid a visit to him but don't quote me on that. IIRC he said it was very nice as well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,797 ✭✭✭bobcar61

Oh where are you moving to Val?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,657 ✭✭✭magnumlady

Only just up the road from where we are now, but out of the village, thankfully, I've had enough of the boy/girl racers and the drunks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,797 ✭✭✭bobcar61

    Boy/Girl racers in Coolaney?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,657 ✭✭✭magnumlady

what else have they to do with there lives. Guys that moved to Coolaney during the boom are starting to get seriously sick of the place now from what I hear.

I know starbelgrade did, it's in one of the threads up here somewhere, I think he said it was good but pricy, but that probaly depends on what you order. It looked good though but didn't try it yet.
