Went to Conrad's Kitchen for the birthday.

I think they went out of their way to get me the ugliest rib eye steak in existence as they knew I was having the birthday from hell and had to finish it off for me.

Ah bugger that Lornen, hate when that happens, how was the rest of it - the meal that was...

    P.S. - Happy Birthday :)

I found them. I held them in my hands. I tried them on. They were uber comfortable. They were in the sale. But I didn't buy them. I'm just not quite ready for yellow trainers.

    :(

I did a flimsy review in the sligo restaurant thread but it was alright. Soup wasn't very flavourful. Dessert was INSANE. Lemon tarte was absolutely stunning. Valrhona cake was beautiful and the chocolate mousse very pleasant :)

Also, thank you! It was a birthday i'll happily try to forget though.

Come on Stew, you totally are. Wear them with confidence. I bet you'd look the dogs bollocks in them. ;)

Saturday is going to be soooo messy. Getting some Midori and cocktailing the sheet out of it! McCullaghs is open 20 years too and so I'll be the birthday girl in there before being mega grimey and hitting PURE LAWDS. :pac:

Last time I was in Pure, It was called Envy, I felt like the oldest person there. I probably was the oldest person there.

I didn't know where to look, or even if i would have got arrested if I had.

Is it any better since it reopened?

So what take away popped your Lent cherry? :pac:

And ehm, it's ok. I was in there a few weeks ago for a friend's 21st and it was fun enough. I did however spend the majority of the night sitting down and wearing jagerbombs...

I discovered you don't actually THROW them at your mouth like you would a normal shot :o

So.. for a 20 year old I am relatively shamefully boring..
But I'm giving "socialising" a go and a rather nifty amount of my friends will be there.
I hope the majority of the, unsavoury people that usually populate night clubs won't be out tomorrow. :P

A big dir-ty Doner, and a curry chip.

Although waking up this morning, I wish it had remained un popped

I have to be quite well on before I touch them, hate redbull, totally spoils the Jager.

Hopeless at quoting posts but JAYSIS, don't ease yourself into it or anything. I broke myself in with a spice burger and that was it! You and Urban Sea don't do anything by halves do you?! :pac:

It was shameful Stew, I don't know why.. I think the fact there was a shot in the glass and I just wanted to get rid of the substance, that throwing it at my face was the only real option I felt I had!

I wasn't paying for it so I didn't mind spilling the majority of it :pac:

Never had jager on it's own.. I did just buy a big bottle of vodka and 2 bottles of midori for making some sexy Sour Melon Ball cocktails..

Well I did go the whole of lent plus one more week without any. Although based on how I felt this morning, even after multiple brushes and mouthwashes, made me realise even more how much crap are in them.

I cheat sometimes with the Jajerbombs. Pour the jajer into the redbull, then knock back.

    Whats midori?

Yeah, bad food all bloody week and it's taking a mega toll on me Stew. Insides feel like.. Just actually nasty. Grimey and the likes. I only had a thornton's bunny for easter and f.a else. Still have 4 eggs and a milka bunny in my room. Can't bring myself to eat the stuff. But just general sh*te all week. Trying to clean it up for next week!

Oh that sounds interesting, does it actually make any different when it's in your mouth though?

Midori is a melon liqueur and it's a bit on the lovely side.

Had a cocktail there last weekend. Midori, lime juice, some packet thing, vodka, sparkling water of some kind and maybe some mickey finns? Not too sure. Trying to wrangle the recipe out of the bartender who made it for me as we speak :pac:

It's a bit amazing. I look like a flute drinking it but. It tastes DIVINE!

Doesn't really make much difference, but when you drink it normally you have to drink aload of redbull before you get to the jager, not good when you dont like the stuff. Give me a vodka and diet coke with some sambuca shots any day.

My chocolate egg I demoshed in minutes easter weekend. Would have loved a few more.

My diet has not been great over the last week either, slipping into some old bad eating habbits, no takeaways but one to many frozen pizzas, and one to many cans of coke once all the prepared food was eaten.

Quit with all the drink talk, yous are making me thirsty - not that it takes much!!

That Midori sounds lovely, it it anything like schnapps, used to get melon schnapps in Spain for about 3 quid a bottle and drink it over ice, it was divine.
