Single-label domain namespaces

Hi,

I have a windows 2003 domain, and am having a few problems. They can all be traced back to the fact that I have a Single-label domain namespace. At the moment my domain is called domain and I believe it should be domain.local I obviously need to fix this however google isnt my friend. Is this a simple enough thing to do or is it a huge job?

I didnt build the domain originally and have no idea why it was done like that. I also have very limited experience of DNS. Can anybody help?

Can be done - - I like the msexchange articles as normally very well wrote.

Right think im going to embark on this, has anyone else here had any experience with this?
