Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wondering if there's any easy way to do this, I'm running Vista, my C drive is almost full but my D drive is completely empty. Is there any way to merge the 2 together? If you need any more information on computer etc, let me know.
    Cheers

Moved from Laptops. Figure you'd get a better response here.
    Thanks,

You could use GParted or any decent partition tool.

In XP Pro you can do that in Disk Management by making the disks dynamic and then extending your C drive by any or all of the capacity of your D drive . I should imagine it's a similar procedure in Vista . That's not to say Gparted wouldnt be as good - it may be better . I've only ever done the 'Windows way' so cant really comment on that , though .

If the D drive is buck naked get rid of it. also if your C drive is nearly full go rationalise your filespace: download windirstat and let pacman scan your drive so you know how much porn:music ratio you have, among other things.

In vista (dammit what a time to be without me lappy) *cough* in Vista go to the Control Panel > Administrative Tools > System Management Console.

Go to the Disk Management tab on the sidebar. Now you should easily spot your D drive. Right click on that and it should give you the option of deleting the partition or something to that effect. Do so. What you then have is unallocated space.

Right click the C Drive and choose to Expand the Volume by the amount of unallocated space.
