Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

I've just noticed that there's a new channel on Sky (number 465 I think) called SportsXchange and it appears that they have rights to show live football from Brazil. Tonight (Saturday), they have Fluminense Vs Internacional and, tomorrow, they have Sao Paulo Vs Vasco da Gama.

I don't know about tonight's game but I'll definately be watching the SP game.

Anyone know if Romario is still playing for Fluminense though?

    Kevin.

Lol, and tonight's game is at the Maracana. I was there many years ago to see Fluminense play against Paysandu. The attendance was just a few thousand then, but the atmosphere was better than any Irish international I've ever been too!

Sócrates what a player, a streak of piss with a great touch. Corinthians are in Serie B these days. Garforth Town are in Northern Premier League Division One North :pac:

Always seems to be the case with sides that finish very low in the table :o

I went to see Botafogo Vs Sao Cetano a couple of years back.
I'd say there were about 20,000 there and the atmosphere was electric.

The "language of football" was clearly revealed to me that day when this hardened looking Botafogo fan sat beside me and started ranting on at me about the performance, now my portugese extends as far os ordering 2 Caprinha's and saying thankyou, yet i managed to spend 5 minutes giving the referee pelters with this man. It was hilarious.
