nice one, thanks. will be interesting to see if he goes for a gentle approach or his usual honest demeanour that doesn't seem to go down to well with some people.

Oh dear, nasty Dawkins trying to brainwash the little kiddies...

Wasn't too bad TBH. Just a rehash of the Blind Watchmaker really.

Thought it a bit ironic to be sponsored by the "beautifully engineered Passat", which we were reminded of at every break. Curious as whether someone thought they being clever. :)

Enjoyable doc, I just think Dawkins lacks a bit of charisma.

I enjoyed it - Dawkins just oozes integrity - he also got a few digs into religion which is always to be applauded.

was really such an out of the blue idea, or rather one of the first well put together theories on it.

Taped it last night. Could always pop it on DVD and send it off if you can't find it anywhere. Just let me know.

Better than the first episode I thought. He talked more about evolution and humans, and social darwinism.

But it's kind of boring to watch I think. Like the script was originally intended to be for radio and they made it into a tv series instead?!

    hi all,
have been really impressed by the standard of the guest interviewees on this series but i kept missing their names.

the breaks were short and i kept nipping out for a fag and missing the intros.:o

I recognised Steven Pinker but can anyone remember the name of the economist or the guy with the shades in the zoo talking about selfish genes and altruism?

    Cheers,
    marky

I recognised Steven Pinker too - love his writing! The only other guy I remember is that paleontologist Richard Leakey.
