I have an old banger I need to get rid off.....the clutch is gone and its not even worth the hassle of getting it fixed:o....anyone know how I can get rid off the car...are there any companies/scrappage yards which would come home and take the car of me and dispose it safely

    Buy & Sell.

Many people out there may want it for parts.

The Travellers would take it off your hands as well.

That won't work. They'll get the owner of the car from the Engine No. Any scrap merchant would take it. Erin recyclers for one if they are doin a collection in the local area

Be very careful who you give it to.
One of my friends gave his car to someone for scrap. They put in a cheap 2nd hand engine, put it back on the road, and he was still getting parking & speeding fines 2 and a half years later.

provided you don't think its actually dangerous, stick it in the B&S with a price of "free"

theres always people looking for free cars.

Did he tell the VRU that the car had been scrapped?
