Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wolves still top :) and Reading still whacking the goals in, another brace for Doyle while Noel Hunt strikes again (Sunny South East mafia really doing well)

Doing very well indeed. Maybe time for Noel Hunt to be considered for a place in the Irish squad?

Still top :) Wolves first win over Soton since decimalisation or something close.

Doyler again for Reading, Derby are reborn, Forest gradually finding form and Norwich conspire to loose a game they lead in.

Weekly top of the pops bump. Good to see Chris Iwelumo scoring both. Reading loose - to Soton! Brum had a hard victory over the exellent Swansea, top 3 as you were but Blades getting closer.

Top of the table bump (withstanding a late collapse ;) )

Finally get a new manager for Watford.

    The Chelsea reserve team manager:D

4 points from our last two games. Things are looking up. League Cup Final here we come:)

    Bristol City 1 v 1 Watford

Yeah good point tonight for us. Will be even better if we beat Doncaster at home on Sat.

7 points from 9 would be beautiful.

Reading have hit a sticky patch held to a draw after a loss and with Wolves defeating the Blades there is a decent gap between 2nd and 3rd and 12 points between 1st and 3rd.

I can't wait for Saturday afternoon. Wolves versus Birmingham at Molineux is gonna be great. If the derby factor wasn't enough, there is a great deal on the line aswell. A win for Wolves will send them 9 points clear at the top but the Blues can close the gap to 3 points with a win. I'm confident of a Wolves win though, SEB will bag a double.

    GO ON YOU WOLVES!!!

Still top dispite the loss *bump*

Poor show, suddenly the top end looks much more competitive.

Mick McCarthy sounded like a happy bunny after the game.

Wolves have an unerring ability to throw away a promising position.

Wolves win again, Foley the star today - sets up one, scores the other.

Reading win, Stephen Huint had a peno.

That Burnley match was something else. 3-0 up in like 15 or 20 minutes, and then nearly lose...madness.

    W00t

    Preston 1 0 Brum

Wolves go six points clear while Reading are now breathing down the Blues neck.

Bump! Wolves manager to break down a 'lucky' Doncaster, Reading leap above Brum with an impressive away win. Nowich beat Charlton in the basement.

    Wolves 56 + 24
    Reading 49 + 29
    Brum 47 + 10

I think its the goals difference that points to who will be going up.

Glenn Roeder gets the chop, only surprise is that it took so long.

Top end has tightened up with Wolves stumbling.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

    Delighted about that.

Hopefully Hoolahan's let back in the fold now. Roeder didn't seem to like him.

Roeder was a twat. Hated the fans and hated by the players. Wouldn't be surprised if Hucks comes back from the US and Aidy Boothroyd declare an interest since he was there before he went to Watford. We might actually build a squad now instead of leaving 20 players go and rely on loans to keep us afloat.

I might actually buy a season ticket now since I refused to renew while Rodent was in charge.

Yes! 3-1 win, Reading held by QPR and Brum in the late KO.
Mick McCarthy needed that after just 3 points in the last 15 possible.

    Championship bump!

Wolves blowing it in fine style again, Cardiff in the box seat if they can win thier 4 yes 4 games in hand.

Good old Wolves - they can never keep it going!
The table is once again getting bunched, a month or so ago the bottom clubs were adrift!

Sheffield Wednesday beat Sheffield United to do the double for the first time in 95 years the other week and then followed it up with a lose to Doncaster!!

Here are the goals from the Steel City Derby with completely unbiased commentary.....Check Marcus Tudgays winner! Absolute class!!!!

I don't support a 'championship' team as such, but I would follow Doncaster Rovers as my oh's good mate is playing with them.
He wasn''t getting a good run in the team and had a bad time with injuries etc. since he's been getting a run he's banging in the goals.
1-0 Doncaster tonight latest he scored the first goal again :D
    Go on the Heffernan!!! :):):)

I reckon Wolves will still win it.

Good day for Wolves, Reading beaten by 2 at home and Brum beaten. Wolves play Cardiff who have 4 games in hand on them tomorrow. Preston NE whacked away to Soton.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Typical. Wolves strike early, conceed two then fluke an eqaliser. 2-2 FT. Hanging on the lead by a thread, or one point if Brum win game in hand or second if Reading win thier two games in hand.

Still top and Norwich gets vital point to deny Brum 3 (cheers!)

    Notts Forest 0 - 1 Wolves
    Palace 0 - 0 Reading
    Brum 1 - 1 Norwich

    Wolverhampton 40---77
    Birmingham 40
    72
    Reading 39
    67

    w00t! :D

3-0 win over soton recovers the bad start to the week (2-0 loss to Brum), looking good for promotion but then after 5 months on top of Championship I should hope so.
