    Not so much about practice girls, but I reckon most guys have at least one girl they know they can score if needs be, a sorta "break glass in case of emergency" score. Not really sure girls view things in the same manner, but maybe girls do.

    Maybe not a stand-by at all times in your life, but surely a lot of girls would use a guy they have no real interest in sometimes! An intermediate who can be taken out for things like the cinema, etc, as well until something better comes along?

    Well I'm of the opinion that you're either into someone or you're not, and using someone as a stop-gap is just callous, unless things are on a level playing field.

    And there is the situation where you think you might be into someone, but after a few months you realise this is NOT going anywhere, by which time he is thinking "this IS going somewhere", which makes the dumping yuckier.

    Most people's first/first few sexual experiences are with a person they don't really like.

    In fact almost all teenage relationships are complete shams.
