Was thinking of traiding in some of my games to get another game. Is there a shop that is better then the others on trade in's ?

there's a discussion somewhere around of recent times where the general consensus was that xtra-vision is the best in terms of value. trade-in value is always higher then other stores, and they still do cash-for-games, though naturally taking cash gives you less value

It depends what games you have to trade really. Xtra-Vision followed by GAME are probably the best. Gamestop not so good, especially for PS2 and DS, dire infact.

Was in Game-Stop the other day and they're giving out new games for €9.99 with 2 old games traded in. Now, if you've got a stack of old games and you're looking for a cheap new one, that's not a bad deal. Haven't seen the offers in the other cause I haven't been in there for a while :)

There are unpleasant small-print terms and conditions attached to that gamestop offer. The 2 games you trade both have to be worth over a certain value - the value which is set by gamestop

    Smyths have a similar deal.

Oh yeah, gamestop are terrible for this. They always give the worst prices for trade in.
