I like the L85. It's a spartan design, but it's comfortable and works well. I thought you would like it since you have such a grá for the Styer and it share so much in design and operation. Having used the Styer a lot, using the L85 is a piece of cake.

I wouldn't bother myself, though it is good to see some of the russian style optics getting a go in airsoft.

Maybe they didn't bother before as the real ones are already so cheap!

Out of curiosity, does it stop shooting once its out of bbs.
I know ak's dont have a bolt hold open device but it would be nice if it stopped firing after the last bb rather than continued dry firing.

What is the difference between the m95 and the m99?

Yeah, I'd like to know how they have the M99 modeled, the real thing is bolt action with no magazine so a round has to be manually place in the breach for each shot where as the M95 is bolt action magazine fed which would work fine for airsoft. Must be a typo.

There are a few conversion kits for M16/4's that turn them into a M82 (but that wouldn't suit you since its got a battery :cool: ), but there is/was a gas version. 8mm BBs that was a tad too powerful for Ireland and was mental expensive and made in limited numbers if I remember correctly.


I have to say this thing is gonna wind up being the wrong end of $500, more likely $1,000 or above. Oh and the hi cap is a bit nasty on a sniper!
