There are a few conversion kits for M16/4's that turn them into a M82 (but that wouldn't suit you since its got a battery  ), but there is/was a gas version. 8mm BBs that was a tad too powerful for Ireland and was mental expensive and made in limited numbers if I remember correctly.

I have to say this thing is gonna wind up being the wrong end of $500, more likely $1,000 or above. Oh and the hi cap is a bit nasty on a sniper!
chuck did no one ever tell you if it has a battery its not a sniper, tut tut

Didn't notice this when I put the snipers up but TGD have Magpul MASADA up on their site.

    MASADA%202.jpg

No mention of a price yet and its gonna be the China copy (can't remember which company's making it). Hope this isn't a double post.

They're also doing CR123A rechargeable batteries in 3.0v and 3.7v and the charger for them. Interesting thing about the charger is that you can select the plug you want - USA, Europe, UK and Australia

Seriously might get one of those JG HK416's now... It's a 416 not a 417, it only has a 417 stock. Got the new 08' GB in them too :)

Yeah its the only one still available with full trade marks now that VFC have replaced there's with VFC markings,.,
Id like to see what kinda price tag is going to be on it though, JG stuff has been steadily climbing in price for a while now.,

    $160 off Gunner.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

Is that including postage and tax?
if not you'd probably be looking at about another 80quid on top of that., that would put in the €190ish mark which is a fairly high jump when ya concider how cheap most JG stuff used to be.,:).,

Just seen these (god only knows if they do anything other and work as a radio headset) on Tactical Gear Depot

Peltor Style ComTac II Headset Replica for $75 for Kenwood and single pin Motorola.

    Peltor%20Style%20ComTac%20II%20Headset%20Replica%202.jpg

'This level dependent hearing protector from ELEMENT is specially designed to be worn comfortably under a helmet and while using various guns and still give effective protection against harmful noise. The standard model has audio input for connecting an external radio and an level dependent function that amplifies weak sounds and attenuates loud ones. The external communication and level dependent functions are independent if each other, which ensures extra good reliability and better safety.' Hmmmmm I wants

And also this for those snipers SPR/SR25 users out there

LaRue Tactical SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD LT-104 Replica (I've been looking for one of these for a while and now that I've found one I'm skint!!!!!)

Seems they do increase the volume of the surrounding sounds but don't expect any ear protection. But it must be said they are cool looking and beat having to cough up the readies for the real ones if you want them for your load out.

Its not just the number of pins. The number or sections on each pin varies, and the configuration of which wire connects to where. You have to check each headset to see if it works with your specific model or range.

soom more information released by redwolf on the Systema Revolution Gear Box
Update:Systema have announced that they plan to release their new revolutionary Systema Revolution Gear Box by Mid-December. They have also completed testing & perfecting of their new Super Max. More updates to follow

    SYS-REV-1.jpg
RedWolf Airsoft Specialist is thrilled to present one of the most exciting new products for the year 2008 from SYSTEMA. We received one of these working prototypes from Systema this month, and have been very impressed with the response and performance of this incredible new design. For those unfamiliar with this famous company, Systema is to Marui like what AMG is to Mercedes Benz. From the masterminds of AEG upgrade technology and the creators of the Professional Training Weapon; the Revolution gearbox from Systema makes a leap to improve the AEG operation by deriving PTW technology into a shell, that drops right in the place of your obsolete Version 2 gearbox. Featuring a revolutionary (pun intended) design free of sensitive parts like the tappet plate, cut-off lever and anti-reverse latch, this computer controlled piece of intelligent engineering is really racing to develop the breed. The gearbox of the Marui Man from 1991 is ready for a well deserved retirement! You can now turn your traditional Marui-design automatic electric gun into an economical version PTW!

    BAX, intriguing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 589 ✭✭✭Beast ASI

Should be around $4-500 (My guess anyway). Stupidly overpriced as always. Quite interested in that "Supermax" motor, want to see what it'll be like compared to the Magnum. (My guess is that it's the motor anyway :) )
