I would be greedy and look for one of each, but I'd do unthinkable things for just one.

Meh. Already have an M1 Garand ;)

Now if only someone would release a GBB CO2 version of the grease gun I would be interested. It would be wrong to not feel it dancing in my hands whilst pulling the trigger otherwise.

Hopefully with both ICS and Ares releasing Garands, one of them will be good.

The wood seems a totally different finish than the a1, whether that's just the once off glory of real wood or done on purpose to make it look more mass produced or something?

I think Ares website said the marushin was spring cocking.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭Firekitten

To be honest if was well made, decent wood, it wouldn't bother me. Only really want it for a wall hanger anyway :)

MY first thought was "cool" then reality kicked in!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭Firekitten

    There goes the farm...

Cheaters are celebrating around the world... this is going to make things rather difficult...

Wonder if sites may ban this?

I mean, why do you NEED something like that?

i would imagine it would be usefull say in the us where you might want 400 for field play and then drop down to 328 for cqb

not sure why i said marushin, i think glueing toy soldiers in a small apartment is getting to me.

But if you go to the spring power section of aresairsoft.com you can see it there.

Hmmm, anybody who needs one is up to no good so customs will be on the look out for them as they are now for M170 springs, etc.

As for banning them...probably impractical...desirable but impractical.

Also, I wonder how reliable and stable the fps would be

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

I kind of want one just to take apart and check out, rather than use it.

I think that the reliability is close to the drilled cylinder. Will cause a very unstable fps

Nah, Don't think so.... I do think its going to be something to look at from a technical point of view, but I think its going to simply be regulating the air flow out of the nozzle, rather than creating unstable airflow...

In this case, the air has two ways to escape and will behave differently.

It's still just coming out the air nozzle, whether the valve is big or small.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that part of the air (depending on the NPAS setting) escapes through the piston?.

Looks like the air escapes through the piston.

Mind you, that gun in the video wasn't very consistent.
