I just sold a gun hoping to claw back some funds and reduce the collection, but now, feck, I am so close to ordering that piece.

Its likely to be like my luger, an iconic piece I always wanted but will never ever use.

Isn't the reason you never use you luger is because it exploded?

Anybody know what FPS the winchester is?

For some reason I have just ordered the non rail version off RSOV...

If its anything like the acm 8mm gas shoties it shouldnt be too bad, ie roboust construction, simple action decent performance and easy to fix. I see these are 6mm cos of the mention of the 6mm speedie on gunner.
Will post up pics and a review when she lands, hopefully mid next week.

Exploding would constitute working, so no.

'Tis fixed now though, might try it at a game again, needs a new hop rubber though as the stock one is trash.

I'd rather they used TNT to ups.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,641 ✭✭✭zero19

Thats deadly will be buying one of those cheap meu's to cannibalise for parts for my project gun, do wish they used tnt though too, still works out very cheap now including customs tax

Just left them a message asking if they could use TNT instead of UPS, or provide that option, it would be good if others could do the same :)

M99 Barrett Sniper Rifle Full Metal

Ok before i start i have not had a big chance to get a long review done.
The M99 Barrett is one of the best sniper rifles i have seen, i would of liked it to have been a little less, but when you take into account we shipped them by air and trust me they are a heavy old beast and the fact the gun is nearly all metal made mainly from steel and alloy with a lot of CNC machine work this gun is quality at its best.
Taking a close look it looks like it has uses the same spring internals as the APS, but i need to check this out as the bolt rear is slightly different, spring powered with magazine feed.
They have also done a nice touch with the CNC barrel and steel adjustable bipod and when we put the gun on the crono we had a nice 460 fps
The only down side i found was because the scope is so long in order to mount the carry handle you have to not use the scope extension and also i found the mounts for the scope could be better as i feel they have used off the shelf basic mounts that have a little play when mounted (nothing a small amount of packing did not fix).
All in all though this gun because its the smaller bullpup version of the Barrett could be a practical airsoft gun if you can carry the weight and use it in a fixed position as the balance is nice.

    Cheers Puding,

Yummy Yummy, If that crowd have em in stock and will ship to Eire and
do a downgrade I think I wont be able to resist a purchase for too long.

Be nicer if the mag was the longer version.
