Supposed to be a very flawed system, but looks like great fun for a plinker.

    Very tempting.

I don't get this. The best thing about the DBoys Kar98k that set it apart from the Marushin one, was that it didn't need gas. It was simple, decent to look at and worked quite well. They're fixing something that wasn't broke.
I'm not mad about that new Vanaras PEQ either. What posessed them to think that a hollow plastic box with no function is something the worldwide airsoft community had been looking for? Was that a niche that needed to be filled that I just didn't spot?

I get the impression some companies are running short on innovative ideas lately.

Hey guys I thought I'd ask are these ok? ie. legal and so on.....

The kar98 was never a skirmisher given the shells, the lack of a spring to cock will make the bolt action feel more realistic.

I can see the appeal of it myself, and there are those that would like the gas system version also in a cheap package.

Now if they would just hurry up and make those god damned full steel ak74's I'll be over the moon.

Edit: On the subject of the new kalash line, they are going to have laminated furniture if anyone is interested :)

    Product : RIS Units

    Original Source : http://www.ebaybanned.com/

G36c and M249 version quoted on the front page, cheap m249 units would be popular considering the current version cost more than the complete a&k m249.

    Product : Barret

    Source : http://www.airsoft-news.eu/news.php
Update from Impact Sports Game Kingdom, which comments recent announcement of replica Barret from JTG. Good news is that more licensed replicas are coming:

    Gents,

    Sorry to be rude.

We have to announce that we have Barrett Rifles’ trademark and licensing.

We have to warn JTG (Jack the Gunsmith) that their products do NOT have legal licensing & trademark and will be enforced by us in many countries.

In the end of this year, we will release Barrett AEG REC 7 rifles (by www.ECHO1USA.com) and Barrett AEG M82A1 A2, A3 and CQB version (by www.SOCOMGEAR.com)(MSRP $600 USD).
The followings are some photos when we are doing real M82 measurement (Our external parts will be 100% same as real guns.)
    Thanks.

Want it for a wall hanger.

Actually, that said. I broke someones heart on Saturday in the store when I told them a Barrett would set them back 2k. They'll be right chuffed when they hear it's $600 now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,612 ✭✭✭bullets

yep! dont care if it even spew's and airsoft bb
and dribbles it out the barrel.
I want it just becuase I can!
(providing it's the woeful snibbling under 1j )

Well the good news is, if it's going to be an AEG version, a downgrade to 1J is going to be a hell of a lot easier to do than on the VFC/Smokeys etc versions. It's gone from a complicated custom valve assembly to changing a spring at source.
Looks like you'll finally get one. You've been after one of these for as long as I can remember...

300-320 fps and 104 usd +shipping. it seems its standard bushings, not v6 ones.

    (all the above from gunner)

looks a bit rough to me and in light of the recent sportline issues, i think tm is still the one to get..i seem to recall there was a acm maker about to make one, gone very quiet in recent months

the 2 centre screws looks like someone used a friggen mallet to get them in
