i havent been to the dentist in aaaagggggeeeesss! have such a bad tooth ache that i think i'm gonna have to go... how much would you say its gonna cost for a check up?

It depends on alot of things. If you have enough PRSI stamps you can get a free check up every 6 months. For an extraction (if you think you need it) isn't that expensive but if it is a prominent tooth you should getta root cana which is in the region of 3-400 (roughly). Bear in mind if you get the extraction and decide later to get an implant it will cost in the region of 3000 (yes thousand). Goto a dentist and ask at reception would be my best advice to you. It can be expensive if you don't look after your teeth.
