Depending on your definition of excess you could be onto a winner here ;)

A tantric master in the bedroom
Makes me laugh (in and out of the bedroom)
    Generous (emotionally)
Doesn't count the pennies (hate tight fisted men!)

    and of course...... single!

Long dark hair, dark green/brown eyes, nice hairy chest, taller than me, not too thin/fat(hate beer bellies), funny, good teeth(nothing worse than a crooked/gappy smile imo, bleugh!), masculine, strong, looks after himself, caring, playful, good in teh sack, good natured, affectionate(very important to me), good taste in music, enough ambition to want to be something, not into drugs/excessive drinking.

Think that's it! Moonbaby hit the nail on the head tbh, someone who wants to mind me. :)

I got him already anyway. :D

Someone who isn't absorbed into sports, who I share things in common with, who treats me like a human :P Someone i can have an intellectual convo with! Looks aren't absolutely essential tbh. I hate it when guys think every woman should be skinny with big tits and ass lol.

Non-smoker, no drug users, and not an alcoholic, just someone who'd have the odd drink but not go overboard.

Ok I am not going to sully this good thread by saying "Oh pick me I live up to all your expectations" because there are probably a few on here who know me by now that could refute that statement pretty quickly

However I would like to congratulate the fine Ladies of Boards on having realistic and in some cases sweet ideals for us guys to live up too

It is nice to see that you are non materialistic in your hopes and that looks aren't the be all and end all for most. Whilst looks will lead to an immediate attraction in the long term it is the substance behind the person that will make it last. This may just be heartening for me as I am not a looker although some might argue that I haven't got any substance either :D

I made my list from describing my husband - he had some traits that I never even dreamed were important but I now realise that they are yet if you had asked me 11 years ago before I met him I would have come up with a different list (I used to like the independant, strong and silent types)...in the end, we just work and I love being with him. Dont give up hope girls, there is an ideal man for you, it just may not be who you expect!

On a very technical (and somewhat abstract) level what's the moral standing and legal implications regarding a mod getting romantically involved with one of their subjects? *imagines unfair forum-banning lawsuit*:p

I'd imagine at worst a de-modding if a mod was found to be favouring his/her OH in a forum they mod, and rightly so imo. However, while I know that you don't mean anything specific by it, seeing as the word is out there I think it's important to note that mods don't view posters in their fora as "subjects". At the end of the day we're just posters too, albeit with a few extra powers thrown in, but ultimately we're answerable to the SMods and Admins. Any mod who thinks of posters as "subjects" is on a serious ego trip and should be de-modded immediately imo.

Read the book 'Why men dont listen, why women cant read maps' by The Peases and you (men and women) may get a better understanding of what women actually want.

You'd ask a lot of women what they want and they'll list off a load of things and men reading through it will be thinking 'thats me, check, yep again, check...' all through the list and theyre thinking, 'I'm this womans perfect man'... Without knowing that being romantic means two totally different things to a man and a woman. Watching porn is two totally different things to a man and a woman. Sex is two TOTALLY different things. Dealing with personal problems is two different things. Were very very different beings. Most men dont know what women want because most women dont know what women want.

"The man climbed the highest mountain, swam the deepest seas, picked her the most beautiful flowers from every corner of the world to bring to her, but when he came back she'd already left him, sure he was never around!"
