Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trouble updating driver

Yesterday, I had a msgbox pop up every 15 seconds saying that I was missing the MCF71.DLL file in relation to bcmwltry.exe (broadcom wireless utility).

Since then, I have downloaded a driver to see if that does anything to fix it, however I am having trouble installing the driver.

    Once downloaded, 3 files appeared
    • b57win32.cat
    • b57win32.inf
    • b57xp32.sys
Anybody know what I am to do with these files to make the msgbox stop appearing?

    Regards

Click start, then run, then enter without the quotes, "devmgmt.msc"

You should see the Broadcom network device under the Network Adapters section. Right Click on it and choose to update the driver driver. Select install from a specified location. choose to search for the drivers(first option), and then select "include this location in the search," untick the first option(removable media). Browse to where you have stored the 3 files and select the .inf file. Should update the drivers for you and create a new .dll file.
