Does anyone know if Newcastlewest is on a severe flood alert tonight? I am hearing rumors that the area is, but cannot find any official information.

no problem , it has been raining all day more or less , but from about 6pm its been raining quite heavy
radio limerick were warning earlier of risk of flooding again too , and as far as i know there is still debris in the river so it may aggravate the problem if it swells again..
hopefully they will get away with it this time

just going to listen to radio limerick news to see if there is anything said on it

Cheers for the info again, hopefully NCW will escape . . . but the rain we got today in the Limerick region was intense.

Awful news about the RTA. The weather certainly is not helping drivers either.:(
