Affordable housing application in another county???

    I would lik to get my hands on an affordable home, that's if there is any point anymore. I live in Dublin but would like to get a home in another county such as meath or kildare. Is this allowed? I've searched the FAQ's but I can't find ant mention of it. Any advice/help would be appreciated.
