Can the Vodafone 3G modem be used on Asus EEE?

Won't work with the Linux operating system, what about with Windows installed?

It does work. It's not usually a case of plug and surf though. There a loads of threads on this.

Basic run on things: there are usually a few settings you need to change (should find them online). You'll need to use wvdial (not sure about name) to use the modem, probably detected as /dev/ttys0 or similar, along with the settings.

Almost all Mobile Modems work on Linux.

    Some models easier than others.

    Ask on any Linux site/list.
