Garmin Nuvi 310 MP3 Help

I have a Nuvi 310 with built in mp3. The problem is I have 700 + songs on the sd card but when i play it the song title comes before the artist. So if I want to listen to 1 artist I have to pick that artist. Is there any way of sorting it so the artist name is first and then to song title?
