    Guys,
I've been running with the old BT prestige 600+Belkin wireless pre-n router for the last 3 years or so. My SNR/attenuation hovers around 33/20

I decided to try out the BT Voyager 2110(v 3.63) and set it up yesterday but I now see that my SNR has dropped to 23.
I'm trying to figure out if its the new BT modem that is at fault or if the Prestige was reporting a false figure.

The cable I used was the same and using either the newer or original micro filters made no difference.
    Any thoughts?

SNR can differ between devices, this is normal.

Do you not think a drop from 33 to 23 is very substantial?
I'm just wondering if this is going to be okay for my 3->7.6Mb increase....whenever they get around to upgrading my local exchange!

20-30 SNR on a connection should be ok, 33 may not make much of a difference. You won't really know to be honest until the line is upgraded then you can check to see what your DSL line is syncing at.
