There's a couple of tricky one there, like "how many games will N'Gog start?". Its a guess to how quickly he'll adapt/progress. We could have a another Torres on our hand for all we know, or someone like Babel who'll make more substitute appearance.

It'll be interesting to see how our predictions go:)

7. What central defensive pairing will make the most league starts together (assuming 4 at the back)? - Seems to be a lot of loyalty to Carra

8. How many league goals will we concede? Hands up those who predicted Torres would score more than we would conceed?

10. If Gareth Barry comes, what position will he mainly play?
(a) Defensive Midfield (like Mascherano)
(b) Attacking Midfield (like Gerrard)
(c) Somewhere in between of (a) and (b)
Not a great question I think - (c) is a bit of a cop out answer imo cos there's no way he's going to be more defensive than Masch and there's no way he's going to be more attacking than Gerrard and there's very little likelihood he's not going to be in midfield. I think he's most likely to play alongside Masch with Gerrard in front of them

11. How many league games will Ngog start? Given what Rafa said about his physicality and how Rafa used Babel last year I can't see him starting a lot of games, especially if a left sided attacker is brought in, but could see him as a regular on the subs bench and appearing off of this.

13. Which of the following young players will get the most minutes in the Premier League next season? I went with Plessis as I think he's likely to pick up games while Masch is at the Olympics and Masch is probably going to be subbed/rested due to games for Argentina, as well as maybe picking up a ban at some stage

14. What player will end up with the worst league disciplinary record this season? Went with Dossena as his record last year was dire and I can see him getting into trouble with over physical tackles

17. Will Xabi Alonso… and 20. Will Dirk Kuyt… Think these were nearly unanimous in that everyone expects both to be here for the season

18. Which defender will score the most (joint top will do) league goals this season? Went with Dossena as he seems to love getting forward. Fingers crossed all of our defenders get a goal or two this season as it would b a big improvement on last year

19. Which of the following 1st team players (bar Reina) will get the most minutes in the league next season? Think Gerrard will get this as Torres will be sub rested once games are won and there is less competition for his place

22. Which Liverpool player will get the 2nd highest amount of (direct) assists this season? Kinda strange there wasnt a number 1 in assists? Prob as most likely Gerrard and Keane would split it i'd imagine

23. Who will take most of our penalties in the league this year?
Surprised by the amount who said Gerrard an interesting on - can see Rafa giving Keane the nod

24. How many penalties will Reina save in the league this season?
To the individual who voted 7 or more - what do you think our defence is going to be like this season :eek::D

Personaly I believe that next year will show the highest gap between the top 4 and the rest yet.

A better showing against the "other" three and less f**k up draws agains the bottom half.

I'm being admitadly very optomistic about the mini-league, but I believe that Keane could help us so much away from home against the lesser teams.
