best mastering eq (vst or rtas)

hi all, im currently using waves platinum for most of my mixes and am looking to learn about mastering. im using the lp eq for mastering but its not giving me the results id like and am looking to invest in something a bit better.

im aware that theres a lot of amazing hardware eqs out there but i need to consider budget. i cant afford to have an eq dedicated to mastering alone so i was wondering what the next best option is.

have been looking keenly at the sonnox native pack and ive heard a lot of good things about the differant eq types. also the fact that its a bundle is attractive to me for value for money.

has anyone any other suggestions - something that can be used in a mix context aswell as mastering.

Whats your budget? The sony oxford stuff is serious, I love it. I really like the URS eqs but they dont get used too much for mastering. I would try the sonnox stuff.

had a look at the urs stuff. a m8 uses the channel strip pro. lovely mix tools but im definitly looking for something a little more transparent.

it is looking like sonnox - budget probably about 1000ish

ive tried the flux epure out, i find it colours the sound a little too much for a mastering app. not tried epure 2 yet but i presume the coding is the same?

i really have to demo the algos. heard so many good things about them.

the Blue will probably be too coloured for you so, try the Red and Orange.
