Irish Broadband DSL speed increases?

I've just done a speedcheck on my Irish Broadband 3mb DSL - this is what I'm getting... Pings are double too unfortunately. I may hasten to add that IBB DSL and Ripwave are now capped after the Imagine takeover. Anyone know anything or is this just a cruel way of enticing me to go for a more expensive service?

Nurney exchange in Kildare upgraded today .My 2mb line is now automatically 3mb. Big difference I have to say
