Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

guys, for a while now my velux rooflights have been leaking, but only very small amounts, up untill todays down pour that is!

i got the velux windows retro fitted after i moved into the house.
now i have no problem with the guy comming back to fix the leak but i was just wondering if anybody had any insights to what is causing the leak, if it is a common promlem with a certin installation blunder!

i have attached a very rough MS Paint drawing of what i have, its bascilly a lean too single storey extension with 2 retro fitted velux windows. one is perfect, no leaks at all, but the other is pouring in at the base and the water also runs to the patio door which would be indicated on the left of the image.

sorry for the crappy pic but i couldnt drawi it on cad as i have no way of scanning it in as an image at home!
the red area is the velux window, and the blue arrows are the direction and location of the water ingress.

The flashing on the Vlux windows never leaks there really good even at a really low pitched roof so you can be sure its not felted right you need to strip it back and re do it no other way

Harly, I got your PM thanks.
That diagram is the exact replica of the leak I have.
Any idea how much a fix like that should cost?
