Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The orginal prize break down was to 18th.

But money was taken off the top to pay to 21st.

    1st was €3500
Warren Hannigan chopped heads up forget the other guys name. They took €2600 each

Didn't hang around too long after I was knocked out (just managed to beat the worst of the traffic heading in the dual-carriageway).
Who took the trophy and what time did they finish up?

    what time did this finish?

I left at 6 and it was still on I think,

sick hand on the cash tables,
    1/1 omaha
raised to €6, 6 players see a flop
I have AKJ9, flop is AKK
End up getting €550 in by the river against 3 players (€550, €300, €200), c.€1700 in there with callers,
    €300 stack has AAxx
I pick up a side pot to slow the damage (although, all the rake must of been out of the side)

Happy Birthday Vera and I hope you have a great night.

I have not been playing poker in a while so i don't think I will make it

I ended up going here and I had a great night thanks Vera . I met Vera outside before she went in and I told her that I was number 90 on the reserve list , The words out of her mouth were feck off . When I went back inside she was giving her seat up to people that did not get a game in the beginning thats vera for yea a lovely lady

A great bit of fun all round last night, wp vera, was talking to her outside for a while & she was really enjoing it. Food & drink was excellent too.
I seen lots of faces i had not seen in a long time last night so the banter was flowing(as was the gargle:D)Well done to all who cashed.
No great poker stories to tell really only that i seen A's & Ks b2b for the first time in many moons only for the latter to be crushed by k5o...standard(trebled up & down in two hands LOL)I headed for home at around 1 o'clock & went to bed with the echo of 'CHIPS' ringing in my ears

As vera said in her speech, a big tanks to JP & his team for keeping things under control & managing such a large crowd, the place was jammed.
The effort & dedication by jp was second to none (as usual) last night, met him twice outside heading off to get more tables to accommodate more players,wd m8 another great night was had by all.

A GREAT NIGHT WITH MANY FACES I HAVENT SEEN IN YONKS TURNED UP TO CELEBRATE VERA'S BIRTHDAY

WELL DONE TO JP AND THE CREW IN BLINKERS, A BLINDING NIGHT WITH GREAT CRAIC, UP TO JP'S USUAL STANDARD

Mr Duffy is a lucky man and i think he knows it too, nice guy

delighted for Vera, so many people travelling from afar to make it a super memorable night

i had the pleasure of having Vera knock me out in about 70th place with her A3s

its my own fault too as i was dealing and gave her a 3 on the flop followed by an ace on the turn, the chips couldnt have gone to a better home

i met that guy Warren earlier in the evening, nice guy, very very good player with a good head for the game, i predict a new superstar there, dont know who is coaching him but they have done a great job

thanks again to Mr & Vera Duffy for a super fun packed evening

its a great pity that she only has 1 birthday a year

    Derek

I was knocked (4th) out at approx. 0645hrs, and I left shortly after.
The blinds were frozen at 25,000/50,000 with the average stack being roughly 18BB, so I'd imagine another hour maybe?

The night ended at 6.55 when Paul (Fish)Fitzpatrick was knocked out in 3rd.
Alan Gibbons was 2nd, but no hands were played heads-up,it was a straight chop down the middle.
Warren got the V.D. cup as he was chip-leader at the time.
    Gavin was 4th,and I got 5th.

A great night was had by all and Vera even stayed 'till the end to present the trophy !
Well played Warren, nice result and thanks to Vera for having us all round.Long may it last.

    Martin.

Just had to make a post to say how much fun I had playing this, great to play after being in Ireland to deal all week..

Shame i couldn't go too crazy on the re-buys, but managed to nurse my stack through and made it to about 12.30 before I got moved from the small blind into under the gun plus 1 and shoved with 67s, nearly got through, big blind calls with KQ...

Had a laugh, I was the Cheeky Englishman on table 8 with Collette, Kait (sp?), the marathon man (sorry forget name just now)..

So thanks for my introduction to playing poker in Ireland and Happy Birthday to Vera!
