    Anyobody know of any good quality cheap enough sea fishing boats?
    One with a cabin and an outboard preferably...budget would be abooooot 3k
    something like this would be ideal...i

    I'd nearly bump up your budget to 5k before considering buying a decent, and safe sea boat.

    Barring punts, for smaller boats the dory hull is one of the most stable configurations - much better able to handle the wake off bigger boats and even the odd bit of rough.

    We picked up a 14ft with an enclosed cabin for under 2k from the buy and sell, but remember to budget for at least a 5hp backup engine and the appropriate external mounting. You'll end up far glader of the engine then any amount of GPS equipment or fishfinders!
