    I havent had a pint of Bulmers in years.....it is p!ss on tap in so many places that it wasnt worth even buying one to see what it is like!

    I rope the person who's beside me into a seemingly intellectual conversation about physics / the universe / religion ......makes us seem smart (and relatively sober).

    Alternatively, I endear the bouncers with my drunkenness! :D

    I always use the "engrossing conversation" one when walking up to bouncers!:pac:

    The words drunken, endear and bouncers just don't go together down in these parts.:p

    (b) ask me about my name and whether I hail from Cork
    (c) if I'm very drunk I tend to tell them that they have a fabulous suit and/or ask them which martial art they are skilled in :D

    It's all the same, bouncers want everyone to be submissive, and in a blokes case, we have to quietly come across as knowing we're inferior males compared to them.:pac:
