Hey, Not usually one to tinker with my phone, but I'm considering changing the internet browser. First off can this be done on the Sony Ericsson K800i?? And if so have people tried this and what browser would a) work or b) they recommend??...

Don't know about changing the default browser but it will run Opera Mini.

Would suggest Opera Mini too. Don't know of any way to change the default browser on the phone, it's not really the type of phone operating system that you tinker with really.
