I need to hire a mini digger for a weekend can anybody tell me whats the going price? As I got 2 quotes and their is 200 euro in the diffrence... ALSO when i have the trench cleared for foundations and extention could somebody please tell me what is the going rate to get a builder to come in and just to the foundations ?…

I paid €160 to hire a 4ton digger last saturday to dig the hole for biocycle. Price was originally €180 I haggled :-)

Thats a good price. I seem to pay around 300 a day for a digger and driver from about 8 in the morning till 6 in the evenings.

i paid €150 for hire of a mini digger for the day (ie Bobcat) couple of weeks ago.
