Not sure if this is the correct place for this thread but does anyone know of a second hand bookshop that specialises in school books? Or some sort of medium I can get access to second hand books online? Looking for 5th Year Leaving Cert 2008-2009?

    Any help will be appreciated

I still have my 5th and 6th year books, in pretty good condition if you want them. PM me if your interested and i'll let you know what books I have.

Seems like a huge waste to throw them out.

if you live near Stillorgan theres a really good bookshop opposite the entrance to UCD on the Dual carriageway. loads of second hand books for cheap. and you can sell your old books there.

Aye schoolbookexchange is good, I've got stuff up there. PM me if you want details of my warez. I mean books. No point spending up to 30 euro (seriously.. art book.. what were they thinking) on some books that you can get a bit scruffy but otherwise perfect second hand.

Books Unlimited do 2nd hand books in the Blanchardstown SC in Dublin and this small book shop in Blanchardstown village beside the greyhound pub do second hand books as well.

    Sometimes they smell better.

Sometime they really, dont, I got my maths book 2nd hand (I've never actually opened it, but it was on the book list) and for about 6 months I couldnt open it for the stench of smoke eminating from it......

Then I opened it and realised it was an awful text book.

If your living in Wicklow, head over to Wicklow town.

'The Murragh' apparently has loads of free and basically free schoolbooks in good nic.

I couldnt tell you how to get there though.

Perhaps add 'Condition' in there maybe?
Just a thought. Great idea all the same.
