So I've a Dell Inspiron 1720 Laptop with Vista.
I've 02 wireless broadband (huawei e220) and it was working fine.
I uninstalled McAfee and rebooted and now it says.

Windows need to install driver software for your HUAWEI Mobile.

It gives me the option to locate the drive software but then can't find it.

It was just plug and play before.

    Anyone any ideas?
    Thanks
    M

Try the modem in a different USB port maybe? Also, check the device manager to see if it shows up under "Modems".

If nothing works, try a roll-back with system restore, to a date before you installed McAffee.
