Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problems recording DVDs on a Tevion DVD-955H

    Hi,
I have a Problems with Tevion DVD-955H DVD and HDD recorder. The DVD recording feature is acting up.

The initial problem arose when I tried to copy from the HDD to a DVD. The process would appear to start ok and the on screen progress indicator would get to 99%. However it took an extraordinarily long time to make the last 1% and would generally involve funny noises which sounded like the DVD reader (or perhaps writer?) was trying but failing to access the DVD. The resultant DVD would then fail to play in the machine that created it but oddly enough, occasionally will play with Real player on a PC.

More recently I cannot even get to the recording stage as the preceding DVD formatting process will proceed nicely for most (again about 99%) of the way but fail to complete. The machine hangs and I have to disconnent the power supply to recover.

I have tried different makes of DVDs to no avail.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
