PLC course fees?

    Hi

I'm thinking of going back to college to do a one year course (PLC) which will give me a FETAC level 5 cert.

However, I already completed a BTEC diploma (2 years) a few years back - does this mean I am required to pay the tuition fee for the PLC?

The college told me that no, I do not have to pay the fee, but having done my own research and contacted the dept. of education I'm told that I am, since I am not going a level higher on the national qualifications framework.

Can anyone give me a difinitive answer?

    Hey Elessar,

The Department of Education usually gives a clearer answer as to the cost involved in courses, and generally what you researched I've found to be correct. But really not myself or anyone else here can give a definite answer, since we don't send out the giros looking for your hard earned cash!
